| 3/17/98 - 3/4/10 Tricolor Spayed Female, 10 1/2" Tall, Broken Coat, JRTCA RECORDED Gillian was our first Jack Russell, and truly the reason we love this breed so much. She was the light of our life for almost 12 years and although very ill, until her last day on this earth she still had the same vibrancy and love of life that she had since I brought her home at 10 weeks old. She was my first dog ever - and though she sometimes made me feel like I was going to go crazy many, many, times over......she showed me that there is nothing like the love and loyalty from a dog - especially from a Jack Russell! Gillian lived a life of royalty - she loved to stack the pillows on the sofa up to perch and sleep on top of them and dined on only the finest food (and leftovers from conformation ring bait!) Although spayed at 6 months and never a mother herself, she was a wonderful puppy nanny and enjoyed babysitting the puppies and teaching them the rules of the house - she was the only one allowed to break them! Besides her full-time Napoleon complex (which is a full-time job) she enjoyed going to the barn, swimming, digging, playing with rocks, Rally-O, Agility, and her squeaky toys. She will always be missed, and never be forgotten. |
